David is working on being reinstated to he previous job with the U.S. Postal Service in Charlotte, after being on an unpaid absence for the past year while taking care of his health and helping me during my three separate surgeries on three different areas of my body and three separate stays in the V.A. hospital in Salisbury, NC over the past year.



What he needs, in order to do this is:



1. This is an effort to raise money to purchase a Vietnam Veteran a vehicle that will allow him to return to his job at the USPS as quickly as possible.

Lack of a vehicle is the only thing stopping this man from being back at his full-time job of sorting mail and packages at the USPS Logistics and Distribution Center, where he has worked for the last 15 years, with the exception of the last 12 months. On Monday, he walked the 11 miles from home to the facility to meet with his union rep & supervisor to get the process started for getting back to work.  THIS IS VITAL.  Right now, this is his only chance of being able to keep his home.

 

 

 

2.  We also need to raise money for David to see the doctor, which he has to pay for out of his own pocket, in order to get the okay that he is physically able to do his job.  Another $285 is needed for the Chapter 13, Restructuring Bankruptcy, court filing fee.  David must do this in order to stop the FORECLOSURE action on our home and allow us to repay the debt over the next 5 years.
